Tragedy: Uncle's daughter also drowned while rescuing Faini's daughter who was bathing in the dam, both died

The girl from Khambha Gir took a bath in the dam and the incident took place

 Seeing two sisters drowning, pregnant elder sister also jumped into the dam, people rescued her

The daughters of a family living near Mandadungar in the outskirts of the city went to Aji Dam to wash their clothes and Faini's daughter from Khambha Gir drowned while bathing in the dam.  The cousin's daughter also drowned while trying to rescue Faye's daughter, drowning both Sagira, while the pregnant woman who tried to save her was rescued by the people around.

 Bhimabhai Sapariya, who lives in a slum near Mandadungar, was detained for a week by his sister's daughter Rajal Somabhai Dhanaiya (U.V.13), who lives in Khambha Gir.  Rajal and Bhimabhai's two daughters Sumi (age 16) and married daughter Sonal Amarabhai (age 22) went to Aji Dam to wash clothes at 3.30 pm on Wednesday.  After washing his clothes, Rajal had to take a bath in Dhanaiya Dam. While taking a bath, Rajal started drowning.  Seeing Rajal drowning, his cousin Sumi also jumped into the dam, though she too started drowning after a while.

 Sonal Amarabhai Gadhvi, a pregnant woman on the bank of the dam, was upset to see two sisters drowning in front of her eyes and she too jumped into the dam to rescue the two sisters.  The swimmers rescued the pregnant Sonal, but Rajal and Sumi drowned.  The bodies of both were found by the swimmers.

 Aji Dam police rushed to the spot when they came to know about the drowning of Babbe Sagira.  Bhimabhai Sapariya, who lives near Mandadungar, has three daughters and three sons, police sources said.  Sonal was married to Amara Gadhvi of Khambha Gir and she came to Pierre to give birth.  Pregnant Sonal did not delay a moment to save the lives of the two sisters and despite being pregnant dared to fall into the dam, she did not succeed in rescuing the two sisters.  Police have taken action regarding the incident.
