Big news has come out regarding the standard 12 board exam. The schedule of standard 12 examination has been announced. It is important that the standard 12 examination is going to start from July 1. Mass promotion has been given to Std. 10 board students in Corona period. Exam time schedule has also been announced for those who are repeater students of Std-10. After which a big announcement was made today regarding the examination of Std. 12 board students. Science stream exams will start from July 1. The duration of the examination will be three hours. Students will be provided with an examination center near their home.
This year's annual examinations of Std-1 Science and General Stream conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will be held on Thursday, 1/4/201, as per routine. This important decision was taken after a detailed discussion at a high level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on the holding of Std-1 board examinations in the special circumstances of the current Koro transition in the state.
How many students will give the exam
Giving details in this regard, Minister of Education Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Minister of State for Education Vibhavaribahen Dave said that about 130,000 students in Std. To sit the exam. The meeting instructed the education department to conduct the Std-1 board examinations, which are important for shaping the future careers of the students of the state, in these special circumstances of Koro transition, with strict adherence to the Kovid-12 protocol.
Corona's guideline will be followed
The Education Minister said that this examination will be conducted every year as per the established system of Science Stream Part-I with 50 marks Multiple Choice Type (MCQ) OMR method and Part-II Descriptive Written Form 50 Marks will be held for 3 hours. Similarly, in Std-12 general stream, according to the established system of every year, an 8-hour examination of descriptive written form of 100 marks will be conducted. Chudasama added that the education department will ensure that students sitting for the exams maintain social distance, use masks compulsorily and also adhere to the transition control guideline of cores including sanitizers and thermal guns at the examination centers.
Board Exam: Paper style, marks will be as follows
Science and general stream exam time will be the same as the previous exam 3 hours
In Science stream 100 marks question paper, 50 marks questions will be of alternative-MCQ OMR method and 50 marks questions will be descriptive.
The method of asking questions will be the same as the method announced earlier at the beginning of the academic year, so the examination will be conducted as per the preparation of the student so far.
All the questions in the question paper of total 100 marks in general stream will be taken descriptively
The method of asking questions in general stream also means that the question paper style will also be as per the official announcement made at the beginning of the academic year.
For students who cannot appear for the exam due to corona or other reasons, re-examination will be held after 25 days.
The SOP will be as follows
So far 30 students were appearing in one class. The exam will sit for 20 students in a class.
In the taluka where the number of students is sufficient for taking the examination, the taluka center will be allowed to take the examination center. The student will be given the nearest center. Each class will be equipped with CCTV cameras.
Adherence to Corona's SOP including sanitation, social distance, mask, thermal gun will be mandatory at the examination center.

The Education Minister also said that Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had made a persuasive suggestion at the meeting that the entire examination system should be set up with the concern that the transmission of corona would not spread among the students as well as their future would not be ruined. Accordingly, Rupani has also taken a student-friendly decision to increase the number of examination centers so that students can have an examination center close to their school during this difficult time in Corona. For this purpose, the number of examination centers in the state will be increased this year. In which talukas sufficient number of students will be available and if there is no examination center in such taluka then examination center will be started there.

20 students in a class
Arrangements will be made for a maximum of 20 students to sit in each examination room for both science stream and general stream examinations. Not only that, the examination centers have been provided CCTV. In this high level meeting, keeping in view the future of the students, it was decided that the students who were absent due to corona transition in the examination or the students who were absent due to corona related or other unavoidable reasons during the examination. A new timetable and a new question paper based examination of all subjects will be held after the first day of the examination which will begin. The Education Minister added that the examination for repeater students of Std. 10 will also be conducted in the same manner.
